Ok so guys here we go. this is IFP improvised foam prototype.
this not an actual weapon, this is not meant to hurt any
one. I take no responsiblity for anyone doing stupid and
hurting anyone. Ok here's the run down before I take you
thru the pics. It will fire upwards of 16 nerf darts, more
if your using steffans. Will fire about 30 feet 8 foot
spread when set at 45 degree angle.


So pic one these are the main propulsion for the darts. also
shown are the units used as the closer latch, the two safety
pins, which are reused door hinge pins, and some eye hole pins.


These are the side bars, placed hieght wise. they are an inch
and a half by three quarters of an inch. the length of the
pieces will vary mine are nineteen and a half inches for the
longer and the shorter are 4 inches long.


these are the base and lid peices nineteen and a half inches by
five and a half inches the lid is the same size just cut
straight in half.


this is the basic construction of the box. side walls screwed in
and the hinges are attached to the sides.


now these are shots of the box with eye screws for triggering.




here is a shot of the traps installed along with the safety pins and eye screws installed.


here is the strap used as the launch vector. it is made from
canvas with velcro or hook and loop attachments. these are just
wide enough to fit between the trap bars.
